Ipê Amarelo Film Festival is a monthly online film festival dedicated to discovering and promoting filmmakers from around the world. We celebrate diversity by showcasing a wide array of voices, perspectives, and artistic expressions. Our goal is to create a welcoming space for creative relevance and cultural exchange, where difference becomes strength and expression becomes dialogue.
Selected films are screened online and featured in live Q&A sessions, giving filmmakers a platform to engage with international audiences, discuss their creative process, and connect with fellow artists.

Ipê Amarelo Film Festival – Official Terms of Participation
I. General Guidelines
Language & Subtitles
All films not spoken in English must have English subtitles.
Submission Fees
All entry fees are non-refundable.
The entrant must submit their project to the correct category. Submissions in incorrect categories will be disqualified.
Multiple Submissions
Multiple entries are accepted, provided that each entry is submitted separately with its own fee.
For multiple submissions of the same project, only the most recent submission will be considered.
Selection & Judging
All decisions by the festival committee and jury are final and unquestionable.
Content Restrictions
The festival reserves the right not to select any project with content considered offensive or discriminatory.
Originality & Copyright
Submitted films must be the original work of the entrant.
Entrants must hold all necessary rights, including those related to music, sounds, and images.
The festival is authorized to use trailers, posters, and clips for promotional purposes.
Promotional Rights
By submitting a project, you allow the festival to use printed and digital materials (such as photos, posters, trailers, and clips) on our website and social media for promotional purposes.
Copyright Responsibility
The entrant holds full responsibility for copyright clearance of all submitted materials.
Organizational Rights
The festival reserves the right to change, cancel, or reschedule dates, awards, or categories without prior notice.
The festival has full autonomy over the jury selection, whether fixed or rotating.
Award Discretion
The festival reserves the right not to award any or all prizes.
II. Competition Format
Monthly Competitions
Projects entered in monthly competitions can be selected and awarded.
Projects not disqualified or not selected may continue to compete in future monthly rounds.
Project Definitions
Short Films: 1–49 minutes
Feature Films: 50+ minutes
Unproduced Scripts: Must exceed 10 pages

Privacy & Screening
Films will not be published online without explicit permission from the filmmaker.
Private screenings (jury only) are fully valid for competition and awards.
Premiere Status
We do not require premiere status.
Submission Accuracy
Films submitted to the wrong category will be disqualified once judged.
Student Submissions
Student filmmakers must submit valid student ID. Failure to do so results in disqualification with no refund.
III. Copyright Policy
By submitting a film or script to the Ipê Amarelo Film Festival, the entrant:
Grants permission for their film, trailer, or script to be listed and promoted via the festival's platforms.
Confirms full ownership and rights to the content submitted.
Can request removal of their material from the website at any time via email.
IV. Legal Notice
The applicant confirms they have read and accepted all festival rules and regulations.
The applicant affirms they have authority or permission from the producer or rights holder to submit the project.
The festival will only communicate with the person who submitted the project.
V. Notifications
All selected films will be notified via email only.
Results will be published on the official website and festival social media.
Films not selected will not receive feedback or justification.
All decisions made by the selection committee are final.
